1. Drop Bear

Drop Bear is a hoax that was originally created in Australia. It is based on the native animal, the koala. A drop bear is an imaginary animal that looks like a koala. However, the imaginary animal is much larger than a real koala and jumps out of trees to attack unsuspecting people.

Google created an Easter egg to make this hoax interesting.

When searching for “drop bear” in Google, if you then click on the animated drop bear icon in the knowledge box of the search result, an animated bear will drop onto the search results page from the top and create a shock wave shown in the GIF above.

Minecraft is one of the world’s most popular creative sandbox games. Minecraft players can explore three-dimensional worlds made from voxels at infinity terrain.

Google recognized how popular the game has become, so it created a hidden easter egg for it. Interesting things will happen when you look up “Minecraft” on Google search. At the bottom of your screen, you’ll see the regular search results page with a block of land from Minecraft floating.

If you click on the Minecraft block that shows up on the search page, you will see a Minecraft Steve hand on the search results page.

After that, you can click anywhere on the page, and the Steve hand will break whatever you clicked on as if it were a Minecraft block.

After the hand breaks everything, you can click on the cross icon at the bottom of the page to spawn a Creeper in the search results, where it will blast itself and return you to the original page.

To show love for pets and dogs, Google has a puppy Easter egg in search results. Simply search the term “puppy” and click on the dog foot icon located on the far right side, where the knowledge panel appeared.

I’ve been having a lot of fun discovering and using the hidden Easter eggs that Google has put in their search results.

The Perseverance rover mission to Mars is a remarkable achievement for NASA and a testament to the power of human ingenuity.

The huge car-sized rover, Perseverance, successfully landed on Mars and operated there. This mission also included a small drone called Ingenuity, which was the first drone to successfully fly in the atmosphere of Mars. After many flights, Ingenuity recently retired.

To celebrate this achievement, Google created a fantastic Easter egg. Simply search “Perseverance rover” in Google, click the helicopter icon that appears on the right side, and enjoy the animated drone flying around on the page!

NASA recently tested its planet defense system. The test involved the DART mission, which collided a spacecraft with the asteroid Dimorphos. This impacted the trajectory of the asteroid on September 26, 2022 at 23:14 UTC, demonstrating the viability of such a system.

To celebrate the NASA DART mission, Google added an Easter egg to a search result that surprises you.

Simply search “NASA dart” in Google search and press Enter. You will see an animated spacecraft coming from the left of the screen, colliding with your Google search result page, and tilting it slightly.

In this Easter egg, Google recreated the real-life event of the NASA DART mission to deflect an asteroid, but instead of an asteroid, they made the spacecraft collide with a search result page.
